"Drusentor Seppeli"
A boy who lost his father all too early in an accident is out and about in the mountains with his mother, a Fenggin from the demimonde. One day, deep down in a valley, he discovers people spreading a homely atmosphere in a village setting.
He asks his mother to go with him to this tranquil village. She doesn't feel comfortable, but for the sake of the boy and her husband, who died all too soon, she gives in and carefully descends into the village with her son. She knows full well that she cannot stay in the demimonde forever with her worldly boy and must no longer deprive him of life among humans.
When they arrive in the village of Erzwiesen, the strange woman and her boy are greeted very critically by the villagers. Father Benedikt tries to establish a human relationship with the new arrivals and welcomes them to the village. They gain the complete trust and recognition of the single Mr. Prenner.
The boy loves this man as if he were his grandfather, called "Ehni". This strong and invisible bond is also reciprocated by him. Meja, the boy's mother, is also respected and loved by Mr. Prenner. She tells him confidently that she is no ordinary woman from civilian life, but a Fenggin who married a worldly man who was unfortunately torn from life far too early by a tragic accident. However, contact with her own would still exist. She wished that her Giuseppe would not be disturbed in his life because of this. Until his death, her own father was the only person she could turn to with confidence. But now she is happy to know a loved one to whom she can turn with the same trust.

Mr. Prenner gave Maja's son the affectionate name "Drusentor Seppeli", which made him even more fond of his grandfather. Drusentor Seppeli was far ahead of his peers in thought and knowledge. When he heard the unique music of the Night People, he was drawn to these strange sounds. Curious and full of zest for action, he surprised adults with his knowledge and became known as Wiffzack. This naturally caught the attention of his teachers, who wanted the young man to go to a secondary school. It was no secret that Giuseppe was happy about this and even his "grandfather" helped him.
In his youthful enthusiasm, Seppeli came into the care of influential people at this school. He also wanted to experience the great prestige and knowledge of these gentlemen, indeed he often felt as if he were one of them. During a visit to his homeland, his mother Maja and his much-loved grandfather "Ehni", he slowly began to have doubts about his actions, which he could not really put into perspective.
Back in a foreign country, these thoughts kept haunting him. Hadn't his mother stopped his crazy activities on the Alpe Salünd by talking to a man from the other world? Hadn't this nice gentleman from his mother's world, which happened only once, visited them and enjoyed him? Hadn't he found his real home here in Erzwiesen with a real "Ehni"? Wasn't his mother always there for him? All these thoughts never left Giuseppe's mind. One night, Giuseppe arrived in Erzwiesen without registering with his mother and his Ehni. Nothing was the same, his home, his mother, Ehni, what was going on here?
