The Rudolf-Oetker-Halle has been the cultural heart of Bielefeld for over 90 years. With its unique acoustics, architectural character and lively program culture, it combines tradition, encounters and musical excellence.

The Rudolf-Oetker-Halle has been the musical center of Bielefeld since 1930 and an integral part of the East Westphalian cultural scene. Built in the late 19th century as a concert hall in memory of Rudolf Oetker, who died in the First World War, it has always been dedicated to music - and has accompanied the city with outstanding sound culture ever since.

The striking building with its nine high arched windows, the "Ninth", not only impresses with its visual presence, but also with its excellent acoustics. The Great Hall offers space for more than 1,500 visitors, while the Small Hall is ideal for intimate formats. Since 2018, the stages and orchestras of the city of Bielefeld have been responsible for managing the hall in the spirit of a modern, open house, thus combining artistic diversity, social dialog and cultural invitation.

As the home venue of the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra, the hall sees itself as a meeting place for generations and nations - music, art and culture are brought to life here, anchored in the city, future-oriented and with audible passion. Complemented by a focus on promoting young talent, exchange and creative participation, the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle remains a place that transcends genres and expectations.
