After many successful years, the internationally acclaimed soprano and Echo Klassik award winner Deborah Sasson is saying goodbye to her signature role as Christine. At her side, Uwe Kroeger - Germany's number one musical star - takes on the role of the mysterious Phantom. Between him and the charismatic Count Raoul, her childhood sweetheart, Christine is at the center of a moving love triangle that has captivated audiences for decades.
The stage design impresses with an elaborately reworked design featuring three-dimensional video projections by multimedia artist Daniel Stryjecki and spectacular stage elements from the workshops of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Legendary scenes such as the fall of the chandelier, the boat trip in the catacombs or the dramatic encounter in the cemetery take on a new intensity here.
