An extraordinary dialog between music and painting awaits the audience at the Schlosstheater Fulda: "Pur ti miro" combines the sonorous world of Claudio Monteverdi with vividly recreated paintings by Caravaggio.
Pur ti miro is an innovative concert experience by Teatri 35 together with La Venexiana, one of the leading Renaissance and Baroque ensembles. Teatri 35 recreates famous paintings by Caravaggio with astonishing accuracy, which would otherwise require traveling from Italy to Potsdam, Odessa and the USA. La Venexiana uses works by Claudio Monteverdi to create an atmospherically fitting sound space. The choreography and music are perfectly coordinated and musical accents are integrated into the realization of the respective painting in such a way that a magical overall impression is created and the audience can look forward to many surprising moments.
