Three outstanding artists come together for the concert "Pure Romanticism": violinist Ervis Gega, cellist Edgar Moreau, and pianist Fabian Müller. Together, they devote themselves to important works of Romantic chamber music, bringing the special expressiveness of this era to life.

The program takes listeners on a journey through three musical worlds: It begins with Franz Schubert's early "Allegro" for piano trio in B flat major, followed by Felix Mendelssohn's passionate Piano Trio in C minor, Op. 66. The program concludes with Johannes Brahms' Piano Trio in B major, Op. 8, a work full of sonic richness and emotional depth.

The combination of violin, cello, and piano in particular opens up a rich spectrum of timbres—from delicate lyrical passages to powerful musical climaxes. The musicians breathe new life into romantic music with its sweeping melodies and intense forms of expression.

The concert is part of the "Klassik & Arp" series, which brings together international musicians in the special atmosphere of the historic Rolandseck railway station. The unique atmosphere of the museum creates a chamber music evening that combines romantic sound splendor with intimate musical encounters.
