The Städtische Galerie Offenburg is located in the Kulturforum of the city of Offenburg and sees itself as a lively meeting place for contemporary art. Two to three changing exhibitions are shown here every year, in which both established artists and young talents from the region and beyond have their say. In addition to solo presentations and group exhibitions, the rooms of the former barracks in Oststadt offer an architecturally appealing environment that interweaves modernity and heritage.
The exhibition house deliberately invites people to come together: Guided tours, workshops and educational programs open up art to all age groups and create space for exchange and reflection.
