With wit, fantasy and poetic depth, "Gulliver's Travels" takes us into a world full of adventure and wonder - a modern family play about the power of imagination that shows how stories help us to see reality with new eyes.
Grace is expected to help with the housework and no longer has time to dance and play. But she is still a child! So Grace dreams herself away with the help of her imagination - she transforms into Gulliver, the adventurous circumnavigator from Jonathan Swift's novel. On her travels, she encounters wondrous creatures, overcomes great dangers and makes unexpected friends. But at some point she has to return to her family ...
British author Lulu Raczka retells Swift's fantastic classic from 1726 as a touching play about the timeless power of stories. Director Jaz Woodcock-Stewart brings Gulliver's famous travels to life in a highly imaginative show. In Weimar, she is staging her theatrical hit from London for the whole family.
