Musical star Lilli Vanessi and her producer and acting partner Fred Graham have a relationship crisis: in the musical version of Shakespeare's comedy "The Taming of the Shrew", the sparks fly between them. And when two theater-loving gangsters come into play to blackmail Fred, a crazy thriller unfolds that causes comedic confusion.
