A great opportunity to feel tiny. Smilodon, Paraceratherium, Megatherium... They all lived on earth after the dinosaurs. Do you know them?

66 million years ago, the impact of a meteorite caused the extinction of countless animal species: dinosaurs, plesiosaurs, mosasaurs, etc. An opportunity for some small animals that had previously lived in the shadow of the big ones! They diversify and some of them sometimes grow to gigantic sizes.
GIANTS invites you on a journey through time, from the Paleogene to the Quaternary. Meet eleven animals of spectacular dimensions such as Otodus megalodon, the mightiest shark of all time, and Gigantopithecus blacki, the Asian ape whose size is equivalent to that of three orangutans.

Admire six life-size 3D animal representations and five (almost) complete skeletons and carry out your own research like a paleontologist with interactive elements and multimedia images. Explore the lives of these giants. Who are they? What advantages did their enormous size give them? What are the reasons for their extinction? Other giants have since replaced them... but for how much longer? Many of today's giants such as elephants, rhinos and whales are under pressure...
