Christin Breuil's work is characterized by colorful, playful compositions that combine transparency, depth, and movement. Her art presents itself as a visual interpretation of vivid ideas, imbued with a unique aesthetic. Her creative process focuses primarily on painting, but she also experiments with other media such as collage, printmaking, graphic art, and monotype.
In "Windblüte" (Wind Blossom), the lightness and fluid movement of nature unfolds in compositions that lie between abstraction and figuration. Dreamscapes and places of memory emerge, inspired by childhood memories of her wooded native region of Île-de-France, literature, poetry, and the beauty of nature. Vibrant colors, transparency, and overlays immerse the viewer in an imaginative, sensitive, and poetic world. On display are new works from the series "Domains & Literature," "Colored Ballads," "Botanical Whispers," "The Sleeping Waters," and other works.
Breuil has lived and worked for many years in southern Burgenland, in Rotenturm, where, in addition to her artistic activities, she also offers art education for adults and children. Her works, characterized by poetic sensitivity and vivid colors, have been presented in solo exhibitions both nationally and internationally and reflect the versatility and depth of her artistic practice.
