With the First Klaas Quintet, one of Solingen's most influential jazz musicians, saxophonist Klaas Voigt, returns to his home stage. As part of the Solingen Jazzt Spezial series, the ensemble combines tradition and the joy of playing to create a rousing concert experience - this time complemented by a guest yet to be unveiled. For the sixth time, the First Klaas Quintet will once again be a guest at the Solingen Theater & Konzerthaus. The city of Solingen has a rich cultural history and the annual event series "Solingen Jazzt Spezial" reflects the love of jazz that was very much alive here in the diverse jazz tradition of the 60s and 70s. The First Klaas Quintet around the saxophonist and founder of "Solingen Jazzt" Klaas Voigt, who grew up in Solingen, will present a promising jazz concert with a guest musician yet to be announced.
