City Festival 2025 - It's back!
After a break, the popular Bad Ischl town festival returns in 2025 - and brings the town center to life! For one weekend, the heart of the imperial city will be transformed into a lively stage for music, culinary delights and communal celebrations.

Imperial Days 2025: Majestic delights among friends
For the 22nd time, Bad Ischl celebrates the legacy of Emperor Franz Joseph I - with plenty of charm, a historic backdrop and imperial flair. The highlights include:
- Magnificent k.u.k. Horse-drawn carriage gala on August 10
- Nostalgic arrival of the imperial procession on August 15
- Photo audiences with the imperial court
- Daily special tours such as "Marie Valerie in Ischl" or "The Habsburgs in Ischl"
- The festive imperial stroll on August 16
- Imperial mass and parade on August 18 to mark the emperor's birthday

Erwin Wurm in the Imperial Park: art meets the imperial city
With Erwin Wurm's exhibition in the Marmorschlössl and the Imperial Stables, Bad Ischl becomes a center of contemporary art. Sculptures, objects and interventions invite visitors to smile, marvel and reflect - all in the unmistakable style of the Austrian artist.

Pirni's Tanzpalast - The big dance night in Ischl
Reinhard "Pirni" Pirnbacher brings his legendary record box to Bad Ischl - with classics from "Let's Twist Again" to "Rivers of Babylon". From 4:30 pm, a free taster dance course invites all dance enthusiasts - whether alone or in pairs, beginners or professionals.
