After over 40 years and more than 5,200 concerts throughout Europe, Wil Salden has gone into well-deserved retirement. Uli Plettendorff, who has been with the Glenn Miller Orchestra as a trombonist since its beginnings, is now continuing the tradition as the new bandleader.

In the 2025/26 season, the Glenn Miller Orchestra will once again be on a major European tour to thrill people of all ages around the globe. The unmistakable, strikingly harmonious and at the same time electrifying sound brings back the lifestyle of the 40/50s and leaves no doubt about the skills of the excellent musicians from the very first minute. The large big band line-up performs timeless world hits such as: In The Mood, Pennsylvania 6-5000, Moonlight Serenade, St. Louis Blues March, American Patrol and many more.

The original arrangements, the irresistible power of the musicians, rousing enthusiasm and incomparable energy turn every venue into a swing temple. Since the founding of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the music world has been enriched with numerous unforgettable tunes and arrangements. Just as Coca Cola and Elvis Presley are part of the globally known American cultural heritage, Glenn Miller and his unforgettable music are a household name all over the world.
