With Così fan tutte, a multi-layered play about love, loyalty and seduction returns to the Brandenburger Theater - Mozart in simple language that combines clarity and humor.

The story is as timeless as it is provocative: two young officers doubt the fidelity of their fiancées - and follow the bet of a cynical friend. They say goodbye, only to soon return in disguise to seduce their partners. What begins as a game develops into a web of deception, longing and moral conflict. The women defend themselves, doubt, fall - and in the end they are all faced with the realization that the test cannot remain without pain and insight.

The Brandenburger Theater has translated Mozart's classic opera into simple German, opening up Così fan tutte to a wider audience. The music and the comic drama are retained, the plot becomes comprehensible - and the emotional impact remains strong. In the manageable, intimate atmosphere of the large house, an evening is created that combines closeness and clarity, in which voice, music and language work together.

Those who attend this play do not experience baroque distance, but immediate closeness: a play about love and doubt, about play and truth - lively, accessible and haunting.
