"Bonne Chance" is the title of an extensive presentation of works by the artists Elmgreen & Dragset at the Center Pompidou-Metz.

The exhibition - a mixture of installation, sculpture and performance - consists of a full-size apartment building, a circus arena, an abandoned playground and other urban elements that together form a series of dream-like scenarios. Parts of the exhibition will gradually appear, disappear and reappear as it progresses. This is Elmgreen & Dragset's first solo exhibition in a French museum. It will span the Grande Nef, the Forum, the roofs of the galleries and the garden. "Bonne Chance" brings together existing and new works of art, which together create a universe in which live acts will also play an important role. Elmgreen & Dragset, who are among the most influential artists of the 21st century, are known for their transformation of exhibition spaces. From their 2009 presentation at the 53rd Venice Biennale, where they transformed the Danish and Nordic pavilions into two houses of art collectors, to their recent solo exhibition "Useless Bodies?" (Fondazione Prada, 2022), in which they presented, among other installations, an eerie-looking abandoned office landscape and an abandoned spa environment, the artist duo uses architectural reconfigurations and situational shifts as a means of storytelling.
