In the Meissen Porcelain Museum you will encounter the "white gold" in all its diversity - a place where art, craftsmanship and history manifest themselves in fine porcelain.

The Meissen Porcelain Museum displays around 2,000 exhibits in its permanent exhibition, making it the only museum in the world to document the complete development of Meissen porcelain - from its beginnings in 1710 to the present day.

The exhibition spans an impressive arc over more than 300 years of porcelain history: from artistically designed individual pieces and figurative masterpieces to contemporary design objects. Interactive elements, multimedia presentations and elaborately designed rooms illustrate both the manufacturing process and the artistic diversity of the material.

The museum is part of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation, which preserves the rich heritage and constantly reinterprets the traditional material. In close connection with the neighboring MEISSEN World of Experience, visitors also gain insights into the craftsmanship and fascinating history of Europe's oldest porcelain manufactory. The Meissen Porcelain Museum is therefore much more than just an exhibition - it is a living place where art and craftsmanship merge to create a unique cultural experience.
