The Deutsche Oper am Rhein with its two main venues - the Düsseldorf Opera House and the Theater Duisburg - is one of the most important music theatres in Europe. The DOR is the artistic home for the largest ensemble of singers in the German-speaking world, the internationally acclaimed Ballett am Rhein with 45 dancers, the opera choir and two partner orchestras: the Duisburg Philharmonic and the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra.
