Nils Landgren's "Christmas With My Friends" project can confidently be described as a phenomenon!
Initiated in 2006 by the Swedish trombonist, singer and fixed star of the European jazz scene, the realization of a musical Christmas party in the company of close companions was immediately a huge success. It was the prelude to a whole series of albums and accompanying tours. In 2025, a new album will be released and Nils Landgren will be a guest at the Glocke for the first time. He will be accompanied by Jonas Knutsson (saxophone), Johan Norberg (guitar), Clas Lassbo (bass) and Ida Sand both on piano and together with Sharon Dyall, Jessica Pilnäs and Jeanette Köhn as one of a total of four female singers.
Logically, the participation of so many highly qualified individuals makes an enormous range possible - from "classic" Advent songs from Europe to Scandinavian folklore and American Christmas songs. With an evocation of peace and friendship, the magic of Christmas is awakened in a melodious, warming and soulful way, touching hearts and souls deeply!
