FOMU presents RE/SISTERS: A Lens on Gender and Ecologya large group exhibition that explores the relationship between gender and ecology to highlight the systemic links between the oppression of women and the destruction of the planet.

Our planet and its inhabitants are under pressure. Massive environmental pollution, intensive deforestation and exploitation are making once healthy ecosystems increasingly vulnerable. Hard borders divide the world and separate people from nature. RE/SISTERS illustrates the urgency of the climate crisis and goes into depth. The artists in this exhibition make us feel that the exploitation of the earth is inextricably linked to the systemic oppression of women and minorities. The exhibition invites us to reflect on new visions for the future.
