The Kunstraum Engländerbau aims to make contemporary art in all its diversity accessible to as many people as possible through open and high-quality exhibition presentations with interesting accompanying events. The art space is primarily available to artists from Liechtenstein and the region. The aim is to promote exchange and networking with the regional, national and international art world. The exhibitions in the Kunstraum must be based on a space-designing concept. It is possible to present thematic projects, focused groups of works or specific creative periods of artists. The Kunstraum is a place for encounters, exchange and debate, combined with the intention of promoting art and artistic creation in every respect.

In this major exhibition of works by Zurich artist Elisabeth Eberle, both new and existing wooden objects from the FRUITS series are shown in a kind of dystopian landscape. The series of works is inspired by a collection of magnolia fruits and is reminiscent of a kind of oversized, digitized herbarium. Parallel to this herbarium, the latex skins of these objects materialize on metal constructions in the series IMAGO. Accompanied by a soundscape, the entire constellation balances as a kind of premonition in the dichotomy of the natural and the man-made.
