When the leaves turn colorful and the forests on western Lake Constance are bathed in golden light, a very special time for connoisseurs begins. From October 18 to November 23, the Wild Weeks invite you to celebrate autumn with all your senses. Numerous restaurants and inns in Constance and the region serve fine game dishes during this time - sometimes traditional, sometimes with a modern twist, but always regional, fresh and prepared with love.
The culinary journey leads through the diversity of local game: from hearty venison goulash to sophisticated new interpretations such as wild cordon bleu, saddle of venison or creative game burgers. The aromatic specialties are accompanied by seasonal side dishes - pumpkin, mushrooms and berries bring the taste of autumn to the plate. More than 20 restaurants are taking part in the gourmet weeks. In Constance, the Hafenhalle and Suppengrün, for example, are tempting diners with their special menus. Those who take part can not only feast, but also win: A QR code on the menus leads to a competition with tasty prizes.

But the Wild Weeks are much more than just a culinary festival. They invite you to discover the landscape and culture of Lake Constance from a new perspective. Under the motto "Hiking, game & wine", Höri guide Sylvia Hartmann and hunter Bernhard Griß lead you through the forests - at the end, a regional game snack with wine accompaniment awaits. In the cooking course "How the region tastes", the focus is on the "wild companions": seasonal ingredients are used to create fine dishes under guidance, which are then tasted with a glass of Allensbach wine.
The accompanying events also promise special experiences: at the Chef's Table game dinner in the romantic Knights' Hall at Burghof Wallhausen, the chefs serve variations of local game in several courses - the meat comes directly from the head forester. In the Hafenhalle Konstanz, on the other hand, a 6-course game menu is accompanied by an exquisite wine tasting, where winegrowers present their wines in person.

An atmospheric finale awaits visitors at the autumn lights at the ostrich farm in Stockach: between countless lanterns and lamps made from ostrich eggs, guests enjoy a hearty ostrich goulash soup and sweet ostrich egg waffles.
The Wild Weeks on western Lake Constance are a delightful combination of regional cuisine, sustainable products and incomparable experiences in a unique landscape. If you want to experience autumn at its most intense, this is the place to be.
