The Liszt Center Raiding, birthplace of the great composer Franz Liszt, will once again become an international meeting place for the classical music scene in the 2025/26 season. With an incomparable blend of tradition and innovation, the house offers a program that celebrates Liszt's legacy and at the same time opens up new musical horizons.
The Liszt Festival kicks off in October 2025 with Beethoven's Fate Symphony, Liszt's First Piano Concerto and the tone poem Prometheus. The Vienna Chamber Orchestra under Christoph Koncz and Artist in Residence Kateryna Titova will open a season full of brilliance. Works by Liszt take center stage as well as exciting bridges: Plattform K+K under Kirill Kobanchenko ventures bold combinations, Kristina Miller and Suzana Bartal delve into Liszt's piano worlds, and the Wiener Akademie Orchestra brings national sound colors to shine with the Hungarian Rhapsodies.
The Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra under István Várdai also sets special accents, opening a dialog between classical music and folklore with the Sarközy Trio. Finally, the song recital with Miriam Kutrowatz and Andreas Fröschl spans an arc from Liszt to Haydn and Strauss. Liszt's Dante Symphony, performed by the Vienna Academy Orchestra and the world-famous Vienna Boys' Choir, promises a monumental finale.

The family concert in December 2025 brings pre-Christmas magic to the Liszt Center with Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite for two pianos, played by Ania and Sophie Druml, and Katharina Stemberger's storytelling. Liszt's Christmas tree completes the program with atmospheric piano miniatures.

In March 2026, the Baroque Days will be dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach. Barocco Originalklangorchester and Barocco Vocal under Heinz Ferlesch interpret the moving St. John Passion, while Matthias Bartolomey and Kateryna Titova shed new light on Bach in a very personal way. The L'Orfeo Barockorchester under Michi Gaigg concludes the series with the legendary Brandenburg Concertos.

The Summer Concerts in June 2026 showcase the full diversity of the house: Rusanda Panfili & Friends revive great film music, Kristina Miller and her trio dedicate themselves to Oscar Peterson, and La Philharmonica - an ensemble made up of members of the Vienna Philharmonic - closes the season with Viennese dance music, opera highlights and cinematic sounds.

With this program, the Liszt Centre Raiding impressively proves that Franz Liszt's birthplace is much more than a place of remembrance: it is a living stage where virtuosity, artistic perfection and the joy of making music go hand in hand.
