Interactive stations, works of art, research projects, large-scale projections and laboratories. The new Ars Electronica Center invites you to exciting and inspiring excursions into the future fields of artificial intelligence and neuroscience, robotics and autonomous mobility as well as genetic engineering and biotechnology!

In the "Museum of the Future", topics of the future are the exhibitions of today. The striking building, which is located directly on the Danube, houses impressive exhibitions on the topics of art, technology and society. At the Ars Electronica Center, visitors can not only visit exhibitions, but also watch artificial intelligence "think" for themselves, train self-driving cars, program robots, 3D print or edit their own DNA with gene scissors.
Technological thought leadership paired with visionary media art: the Ars Electronica Center is considered the center of the UNESCO City of Media Arts - with its annual festival in September and the renowned Prix Ars Electronica.
Experience unique visual worlds in the Ars Electronica Deep Space 8K! High-resolution images are shown on a 6 x 9 meter wall and another 16 x 9 meter floor projection surface. Gigapixel photographs, time-lapse videos, historical sites in 3D and images from inside the human body - the program in Deep Space 8K is exciting and varied. There are also great games for children and the young at heart to take part in!
In Deep Space, images are projected in 8K resolution and taken to a completely new, unprecedented level. A visit is unique, fascinating, impressive and overwhelming!

For young researchers
Research, discover and understand by playing in the children's research laboratory: at eleven stations in the Ars Electronica Center, young researchers aged 4 to 8 can tinker, make music, draw, program and experiment, thus immersing themselves in the museum's themes in a unique way.
From the programmable robot bee to the reflected-light microscope - in the children's research laboratory, young visitors are encouraged to observe, think and try out new things and can learn from them for the future!

A play of lights on the Danube
The Ars Electronica Center is unique not only because of its progressive concept, but also because of its striking design. The architecture of the building and its LED façade, which transforms the Museum of the Future into a colorful play of lights at night, are fascinating.
Visitors can light up the façade of the Ars Electronica Center themselves via the façade terminal on the Donaulände using a smartphone or notebook. The 38,500 LED lamps on the museum pulsate to the rhythm of the music being played.
