An evening that combines three very different musical worlds and shows how versatile orchestral colors can be.

Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor forms the elegant centerpiece of the program - a work full of movement, with a subtle tension between urgency and restrained melancholy. Before that, Wagner's "Faust Overture" opens the evening with music that makes inner turmoil audible and does not retell the famous material, but rather illuminates it atmospherically. Finally, Lili Boulanger's "Faust et Hélène" takes us into a completely different perspective: a lyrically charged episodic piece that captures Goethe's world of motifs with great emotionality and a remarkably modern style.

The concert thus brings together three perspectives on the same literary myth - classical, romantic and early modern. The combination creates a varied sound that reveals both narrative power and fine details. A program that challenges, surprises and carries the listener through the evening.
