He has the gift of captivating the audience and the exceptional German talent from the Black Forest has been proving this impressively time and time again for 20 years. When this powerhouse meets the multiple Grammy-nominated SWR Big Band, the result is an energetic spectacle of talent and skill that literally sweeps you off your feet. Max Mutzke's showcase career is characterized by constant artistic development with several chart placements. It all began with a small funk band. In 2004, he won a casting show that took him to the Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul. There he took eighth place with "Can't wait until tonight". Ten years and six albums later, Mutzke has established himself as one of the best singers in the German music scene. He even received the Jazz Platinum Award with his album "Durch Einander". He is also the only artist from a talent show to date who has been able to establish himself over the years and have a successful career.
