The art market is subject to strong fluctuations, buying behavior is changing, collectors are waiting, younger groups of buyers want to be won over. None of this stops gallery owner Eleonore Schäfer from breaking new ground and making her mark in difficult times. She has been representing international contemporary art for five decades. Her many years of fruitful collaboration with curator Andrea K. Schlehwein have now led to the decision to rename the gallery - formerly [FKc] FORUM KUNST contemporary - schäfer + schlehwein | internationale Kunst der Gegenwart.

The domicile at ART SPACE stift millstatt in Austria will remain. The profile will be sharpened with paintings, objects, sculptures, multimedia and a stronger focus on the visual arts. The series Black Box | Video Art and the 'trajectory lines' / Photography will be more strongly exposed and deepened through contemporary, cross-genre, theoretical discussion. As before, four to five exhibitions (thematic and solo shows) are staged each year on an attractive exhibition space of over 250 square meters in spacious, light-flooded rooms.
