The Klimahaus Bremerhaven impressively demonstrates how beautiful and worthy of protection the earth is. The world of knowledge and experience invites you on a world tour of the climate zones: Visitors walk once around the globe along the eighth degree of longitude. The sensitivity of our planet becomes clear. Ideally, visitors leave the Klimahaus inspired and willing to make a commitment to climate protection.

The journey begins in Switzerland, where cowbells ring and a mountain massif with a glacier towers above. Cameroon welcomes adventure-seekers with tropical warmth as they roam the rainforest at night with all its smells and sounds. The Antarctic pack ice offers a little cooling off before heading past lush green gorges to the warm sandy beach of Samoa. The new permanent exhibition "Weather Extremes" will soon draw attention to extreme weather and its consequences: Using a lifting platform, visitors experience extreme weather conditions such as heat, storms and heavy rain on a journey through various immersive scenarios. Explained by experts and eyewitnesses at interactive stations, the new exhibition encourages visitors to engage with the current climate situation.

The "Perspectives" exhibition area illustrates the interaction between humans, the earth and the climate and provides information on the effects of climate change on the future. In the "World Future Lab" exhibition area, the world can be changed at several play stations. In the "FRoSTA Cooking School", beginners can learn about the connections between climate and nutrition. The Klimahaus has been raising awareness of climate change since 2009 as the world's first knowledge and experience world. One of the most important cooperation partners is the renowned Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research (AWI). The Max Planck Institute for Meteorology and the German Weather Service are also among the partners of the visitor attraction.
