Enjoy Jazz 2026: Melody Gardot – a highlight of the festival
When the international jazz scene gathers in the Rhine-Neckar region in the fall, it's Enjoy Jazz time again . The festival in Heidelberg, Mannheim, and Ludwigshafen has been one of Europe's most important jazz events for years and stands for musical discoveries, stylistic openness, and extraordinary concert moments.
From October 2 to November 7, 2026 , the festival will be inviting visitors for the 28th time to concerts at special venues in the region. Under the motto "Joy of Jazz," Enjoy Jazz deliberately focuses on intense musical experiences—usually with only one concert per evening and city, so that the audience can fully engage with the respective artists.
Melody Gardot live in Ludwigshafen
A special highlight of this year's program is the performance by American jazz singer and songwriter Melody Gardot. With her distinctive voice and elegant blend of jazz, blues, and chanson, she is one of the most fascinating artists on the international scene. Her concert on November 5, 2026, in Ludwigshafen promises to be one of the musical highlights of the festival.
Jazz legends and new worlds of sound
In addition to Gardot, the festival has already announced other well-known acts: electronic musician Apparat, dark jazz group Bohren & Der Club of Gore, American singer Lizz Wright , and pianist Sullivan Fortner with his trio will also be coming to the Rhine-Neckar region.
Since its inception, Enjoy Jazz has stood for innovation and openness—for bringing together established greats of the scene with exciting new voices in jazz. In addition to concerts, the festival traditionally also includes masterclasses, matinees, symposia, and other special events.
Every year, the festival attracts more than 20,000 visitors and journalists from all over the world. The mixture of perfection, a willingness to experiment, and musical curiosity makes Enjoy Jazz an event that celebrates both the tradition and the future of jazz.
