In 2018, Minimundus celebrated its 60th anniversary together with the sponsoring association RETTET DAS KIND - Kärnten. There are now more than 160 models of prominent buildings, trains and ships from over 40 countries on display in the 26,000 square meter outdoor park. Numerous adventure stations on 1,500 m2 in the indoor area, a large children's playground in the grounds, an inviting restaurant with 100 seats inside and 400 more on the sunny terrace and a cozy café in the park add to the unique world of experience at Minimundus.
Minimundus is the ideal destination for a day trip, nestled between the picturesque Europapark in the immediate vicinity of Lake Wörthersee and the enchanting city of Klagenfurt. Located directly at the A2 highway exit, with ample parking in front of the entrance, Minimundus invites you on a journey around the world in miniature.
The journey around the world begins in the well-kept miniature park, where you can marvel at the models on a scale of 1:25. Since 2016, the journey around the world has been continued interactively in the indoor adventure world. With various playful stations, a world of experience and information has been created for guests, with themes for adults as well as entertainment for children and young people. Special attractions undoubtedly include the 4D cinema, the live stream from the International Space Station (ISS) and a model railroad with historic train sets.
The unique view of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower or London's Tower Bridge make lunch, dinner, a light snack or a coffee a real treat. In the restaurant with waiter service, international dishes and delicacies from Carinthian cuisine are served daily. In the self-service restaurant you can choose from the hot buffet, grill or salad buffet, according to your own taste and without waiting times. Austrian coffee house culture awaits you in the shady seating garden with a wonderful view of the park, where you can also enjoy ice cream creations and homemade pastries.

Music from all over the world becomes a boundless sound experience against the unique backdrop of Minimundus
a boundless sound experience! Every Wednesday in July and August, international artists perform on the open-air stage in Minimundus as part of "Music around the world". A varied program is offered, ranging from soul to swing, jazz and Viennese songs.
