The cheerful Constance Carnival in the fifth season, the Campus Festival, the cross-border 24-hour flea market, the Lake Night Festival in summer or the Christmas market on the lake in winter: Constance, the beating heart of the four-country region (D, A, CH, FL), offers unique highlights at any time of year.
In addition to regular offers such as city tours and extraordinary experiences, for example sailing trips, archery, raft building, ice cream courses and guided tours including wine tasting, there are also plenty of great events throughout the year to enjoy life here on Lake Constance and create special memories. In addition, the Asisi Panorama is expected to open in the fall.

Tip: Anniversary year for all the senses & Year of History 2.0
In 2025, the Constance Hospital Foundation celebrates its 800th anniversary. It was founded in 1225 by the citizens of Constance Heinrich von Bitzenhofen and Ulrich Blarer. This makes it one of the oldest community foundations in Germany and the oldest on Lake Constance. Since its establishment, the foundation has been an important part of public life. Even at the time of the Council of Constance, it was an employer for many people as well as providing for the needy. Today, the focus is on care for the elderly.
The hospital winery, which was also established in 1225, is part of the Constance Hospital Foundation. This makes it the oldest still existing foundation winery in Germany. The winery itself is located at the entrance to Niederburg, the oldest part of Constance. The vineyards include the "Konstanzer Sonnenhalde" and the "Meersburger Haltnau".
