Since 1985, it has been the Ukes' declared mission to confront the seriousness of life with charm, British wit, surprising arrangements, a good dose of self-irony and simply the sheer joy of playing and entertaining: The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain has thus developed into an internationally renowned institution that is nevertheless not afraid to reinvent itself time and again.
