Art and culture are not the privilege of large cities - on the contrary: in Radstadt, with its population of just under 5,000, the Kulturkreis Das Zentrum has been presenting an exceptional concert and cultural program for over 35 years. For years, the festival has been an insider tip among music lovers. Old acquaintances and exciting new discoveries bring life to the "old town in the mountains" at the foot of the Radstädter Tauern.

Compositions by W.A. Mozart meet traditional singing from southern Africa and African songs are introduced to classical music in the Mozartian sense. The result is a new sound that spans two continents and shows how different styles can profitably cross-fertilize each other and how dusty clichés can be cleared up musically. MoZuluArt is congenially accompanied by the Ambassade String Quartet, a quartet of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.

The Minetti Quartet has been a regular guest at the Paul Hofhaimer Tage since 2010. "Four who can do it, elegance and lightness paired with joy of playing, a musical sensation from Austria" - this is what the international press wrote about the quartet.
The Upper Austrian world symphonist Anton Bruckner is being celebrated all over the world. His 200th birthday is also being celebrated in Radstadt with Bruckner's Symphony No. 7. How is that possible? The Schönberg students Hanns Eisler, Erwin Stein and Karl Rankl make it possible. They have arranged the symphony for less than a dozen musicians and the Ensemble Moasik of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz bring the masterpiece to the stage with transparency and lightness.

The orchestra was recently awarded the prestigious "ICMA Special Achievement Award 2024" for its complete recording of the Bruckner symphonies.
Early music is promised by the BachWerkVokal ensemble with its director Gordon Safari. Motets by J. S. Bach and Francesc Valls can be heard in dialog at Schloss Höch, the only Renaissance castle in the province of Salzburg.
Unconventional musical encounters in unusual spaces complete the program: early music and new sounds are made audible here.
