"Winterzauber" by piano.vocal & Carsten Dittrich "A Christmas Carol - a Christmas story" by Charles Dickens

Every year: baking cookies, cutting down the Christmas tree, buying presents and attending the "Winterzauber" concert by "piano.vocal": The Oberkirch Christmas program has become an integral part of the pre-Christmas season.
For the few who have never been and for all those who are already looking forward to their umpteenth visit: "Winterzauber" is the liaison of artists from different genres: Carsten Dittrich, trained at the Berlin Academy of Dramatic Arts and known in the region for the "Theater Fiesemadände" he founded, reads and performs "A Christmas Carol - a Christmas story" by Charles Dickens.
The story about the old miser Scrooge, who only realizes that a life without love, affection and compassion is worth nothing when the Christmas spirits appear, is musically interpreted by 'piano.vocal'. With grand piano and two-part vocals - complemented in the Christmas program by cellist Anne Heinrich - Hannes Schmidt and Ralf Brandstetter accurately place their songs and poems set to music. So you can expect an atmospherically dense program at the interface of literature, poetry and pop music! Oh, you beautiful winter time...
