The Zürich Openair is a cross-genre festival that takes place in Zurich at the end of August. The festival has a capacity of around 25,000 spectators. The festival was first held in 2010 and has attracted the stars of the music industry to Zurich in recent years!

The Zürich Openair is a Swiss festival of various genres that takes place in Switzerland's largest city and presents a line-up ranging from rock to hip-hop. During the four days of Zürich Openair, one thing counts above all else just outside the city gates: rousing guitar riffs, pulsating electro beats and lots of synthesizer. International greats meet hot newcomers and guarantee excessive musical enjoyment that breaks down the boundaries between loud and quiet, mainstream and subculture. The festival impresses with its flair for hip music and new trends and has become an integral part of the Swiss festival summer. Year after year, the line-up is as varied as it is impressive. The schedule on the three stages is worked out in such a way that none of the biggest acts perform at the same time, giving you the opportunity to experience all facets of the music on offer. In addition to the music, there is so much more to discover at the Zürich Openair, such as circus performers, artists and a huge selection of international cuisine. All this takes place over four unforgettable days in Switzerland. Adjacent to the festival site, a well-equipped campsite awaits you. This year's confirmed top acts are Macklemore, Sam Smith and Sido. Louis Tomlinson, RIN and many more are also booked. This year, the festival will take place over two weekends with different line-ups.
