With Frau Luna, the Baden stage takes off into operetta heaven: Paul Lincke's legendary revue operetta combines Berlin wit, heavenly fantasy, and unforgettable catchy tunes to create a firework display of dance, charm, and joie de vivre. Between lunar society and earthly love, a classic unfolds that still delights audiences today with its lightness and good humor.

Berlin mechanic Fritz Steppke wants to fly to the moon with his friends!
After a rapid journey up there, however, there is no trace of the proverbial "man in the moon." One woman holds all the strings: Frau Luna. She rules with exuberant festivity and throws lavish parties for the goddesses and gods of the other stars. When Frau Luna sets her sights on Fritz Steppke and makes amorous advances toward him, complications in matters of love are inevitable, because Fritz is actually in a relationship with Marie on Earth...
After all sorts of turbulent lunar entanglements, the Earthlings return to Earth with the realization that life on the moon is just like life in Berlin.

Paul Lincke's masterpiece takes us to operetta heaven, where catchy tunes and lively hits such as "Schenk mir doch ein kleines bisschen Liebe" (Give me just a little bit of love), "Schlösser, die im Monde liegen" (Castles lying in the moonlight), "Wenn die Sonne schlafen geht" (When the sun goes to sleep) and the march "Das ist die Berliner Luft" (That's the Berlin air) put everyone in a great mood. With FRAU LUNA, Paul Lincke created a sensational success in 1899 that catapulted the Berlin revue operetta into new spheres.
