Bucerius Kunst Forum - Enjoying art in the heart of Hamburg
Just a few steps away from Hamburg City Hall is the Bucerius Kunst Forum, a cultural jewel of the Hanseatic city. As an exhibition venue with international standards, the Forum presents four thematically changing exhibitions of the highest curatorial standard every year - from antiquity to the present day. The focus is not on a fixed collection, but on art-historically sound and innovatively staged presentations that bring together works from renowned museums and private collections from all over the world.
Since it was founded by the ZEIT Foundation in 2002, the Bucerius Kunst Forum has established itself as a permanent fixture in the German museum landscape. The exhibitions are always designed to appeal not only to experts but also to a broad public - accessible, aesthetically pleasing and intellectually stimulating. The program is complemented by a wide range of supporting events: readings, concerts, lectures and guided tours provide in-depth insights and turn a visit into a holistic art experience.

The building not only impresses with its content, but also architecturally: following a comprehensive renovation, the Bucerius Kunst Forum has presented itself in a modern, light-flooded ambience with a spacious foyer, barrier-free access and a high-quality exhibition concept on around 1,000 square meters of space since 2019. A visit to the Bucerius Kunst Forum is worthwhile for both locals and visitors to Hamburg - as an inspiring place of encounter, reflection and aesthetic experience right in the historic center of the city.
