On the occasion of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Pablo Picasso's death, the exhibition "Picasso. Drawing to infinity", organized by the Centre Pompidou in collaboration with the Musée national Picasso – Paris, the majority of his work through the presentation of almost a thousand works (notebooks, drawings and engravings).

From the study of his youth to his final work, drawing is the site of an ever-new invention for Picasso. This passage through the graphic work, a kind of compulsively kept diary, of which the notebooks are the most valuable examples, offers an insight into the work of the draughtsman.

The proposed, non-linear path, which circumscribes the strict chronology, makes it possible to generate echoes between different epochs and to juxtapose recognized masterpieces with drawings shown for the first time. Largest retrospective of drawn and engraved work ever organized, "Picasso. Drawing to infinity", the visitor is immersed in the whirlwind of the Picassian creation.
