To mark the 50th anniversary of Pablo Picasso's death, the exhibition "Picasso. Drawing to Infinity", organized by the Centre Pompidou in collaboration with the Musée national Picasso - Paris, showcases the majority of his oeuvre through the presentation of nearly a thousand works (notebooks, drawings and engravings).

From his youthful studies to his final work, Picasso's drawing is a place of constant reinvention. This passage through the graphic work, a kind of obsessive diary, of which the notebooks are the most valuable examples, offers an insight into the draughtsman's work.

The proposed non-linear path, which circumscribes the strict chronology, makes it possible to create echoes between different eras and to juxtapose recognized masterpieces and drawings shown for the first time. Largest retrospective of drawn and engraved work ever organized, "Picasso. Drawing to Infinity" immerses the visitor in the vortex of Picassian creation.
