Football. Fútbol. Soccer. Voetbal. Calcio. Jalkopallo. Kora. Soccer. The name changes, but it's always the same game. And it is played everywhere. In every village, in every city, in every country and on every continent.

The FIFA Museum at Enge station in Zurich, which opened on February 28, 2016, has created a worthy venue for the success story of international soccer. Located in the heart of the city directly on Tessinerplatz and close to the lake, it has quickly established itself as another attraction in the Swiss metropolis. The exhibition shows how international soccer has continued to evolve, generating enthusiasm and inspiring and connecting people around the world.

At the heart of the museum is the FIFA World Cup Gallery - a must-see for all fans. The gallery is dedicated to the history of this most important football competition and presents an extraordinary collection embedded in fascinating architecture. The highlight of this exhibition area: the most important trophies of the team sport, the original FIFA World Cup trophy and the original FIFA Women's World Cup winner's cup. Both trophies are only not on display in the exhibition around the respective finals.
