"We are conducting a trial for truthfulness and justice against lies and slander" Georges Brunschvig

At the beginning of the 1930s, they were available at every newsstand: "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion". When the anti-Semitic diatribe was sold at the Casino Bern after a Swiss National Socialist rally in 1933, the Federation of Jewish Communities and the Jewish Community of Bern decided to go to court. But who should conduct the trial? A young lawyer who has just completed his law studies in Bern represents the Jewish side in court: Georges Brunschvig. His fiancée, 18-year-old Odette Wyler, follows every day of the two-year trial in Bern's Amtshaus as a spectator. The international press reports in detail and the crowds are enormous. Carl Albert Loosli is appointed as an expert by the judge. Anti-Semitism is to be dealt a devastating blow by means of a judicial verdict.
