The major special exhibition "Caesar & Cleopatra" at the Historical Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer sheds light on the myth and reality of two legendary figures from antiquity and provides fascinating insights into an era of upheaval.

No lovers of antiquity are as famous as Caesar and Cleopatra - but what is myth and what is reality? Was it true love or political calculation that united the two and ultimately sealed their tragic fate? Immerse yourself in our exhibition in a time of upheaval, which was characterized by change and stability, the downfall of an old world order and the rise of a new one.
