Christmas jazz glitter in the Laeiszhalle. As the year draws to a close and the days get shorter, the most wonderful time of the year begins for many - and Nils Landgren has been providing the perfect soundtrack for almost two decades.
Trombonist, singer and producer Nils Landgren - for decades one of the most versatile, creative and successful jazz musicians in Europe - has long had the dream of celebrating a musical Christmas: together with good friends and a personal selection from the many different Christmas songs that have accompanied him along the way. This dream became reality in 2006 with the "Christmas With My Friends" project - and the album soon became one of the most beautiful Christmas classics, celebrated by fans and critics alike. Now Landgren is going on tour again with the 2025 program.
Landgren will be accompanied by an illustrious group of top-class musicians- singers, instrumentalistsand friends- with whom he will perform the program. Between familiar Christmas classics, there will also be surprising arrangements that combine the magic of Christmas with the warmth and depth of jazz.
