Next fall, the Schlosstheater Neuwied invites audiences to an unusual, thrilling exploration of Goethe's Faust material: "Faust 1+2+3", an intense new adaptation by Felix Krakau, takes the audience on a furious trip through emotion and reason. Faust, plagued by an existential crisis of meaning, longs for knowledge, love and intense emotion - and makes a fatal pact in search of the ultimate thrill. A happy ending remains in doubt - or is it possible after all? The play is aimed at audiences aged 12 and over and promises a radical, compressed, energetic tour de force through the entire register of human longing.
