An evening dedicated to Viennese classical music: at the Alte Oper Frankfurt , Mozart's operatic artistry meets the passionate interpretation of one of the most distinguished tenors of our time.

Rolando Villazón is not only regarded as an outstanding voice on the international opera stage, but also as a committed interpreter of Mozart. Together with the ensemble PRJCT Amsterdam and its musical director Maarten Engeltjes , he devotes himself to overtures, scenes, and arias from operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The program includes works from the composer's most famous operas, including key numbers from The Magic Flute, Idomeneo, and La clemenza di Tito.

With fresh energy and stylistic precision, the young musicians of PRJCT Amsterdam approach these masterpieces, combining historically informed performance practice with lively musicality. Since its founding in 2017, the ensemble has established itself as one of the most exciting new early music ensembles and is a regular guest on renowned stages. The evening thus becomes a tribute to Mozart, bringing together vocal radiance, orchestral transparency, and interpretive curiosity in a festive concert of Viennese classical music.
