The Nikolaisaal will be the setting for a special musical evening: with the renowned violinist Lisa Batiashvili, the exceptional young talent Tsotne Zedginidze and François Leleux, a program will unfold between classical mastery and the visionary present. A concert that promises great emotions and new musical discoveries.
Lisa Batiashvili is an exceptional artist who creates new sound spaces with impressive intensity. In 2021, she fulfilled a personal dream: the establishment of the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation, with which she is committed to supporting young, highly talented Georgian musicians. One of these talents is the pianist and composer Tsotne Zedginidze, born in 2009.
His Symphony No. 1, which received enthusiastic acclaim at its premiere in Salzburg, will be given its German premiere at the KAP. At her side, Lisa Batiashvili will perform what is probably the most popular violin concerto by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, before François Leleux turns his attention once again to the wonderfully versatile music of Joseph Haydn. A moving concert evening that will certainly resonate for a long time to come.
