The ÖVB Arena, located directly on Bürgerweide close to the main railway station, is Bremen's largest indoor venue and a real all-rounder for concerts, shows, sporting events and trade fairs. Since its opening in 1964 - when it was still called Stadthalle Bremen - it has delighted visitors with its imposing architecture, which has retained its characteristic look even after the major renovation in 2004/05. Today, it can comfortably accommodate up to 14,000 people, whether seated or standing.

Over the decades, the hall has experienced an impressive cultural journey. World stars such as Elton John, ABBA, Depeche Mode and the Rolling Stones have performed here. Sporting highlights such as the German Open table tennis tournament, the 2007 World Handball Championships and the Bremen Six-Day Race are also regular fixtures on the arena's program. The flexible room design, boxes and modern foyers ensure professional comfort - everyone feels welcome here, from families to business guests.

But the ÖVB Arena is not just a stage for international show acts and sporting events. The spacious hall with its bright, spacious entrance areas, barrier-free access and numerous services creates an all-round experience. Whether it's a concert, trade fair or ice show - the arena offers an inspiring mood, technology and atmosphere. Around 60 events every year show just how versatile this venue is. Organizers also appreciate the excellent location: right next to the Bremen Trade Fair Centre, with good transport links and many hotels and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. This makes the ÖVB Arena the perfect address for major events, regional highlights and international program highlights.

If you are in Bremen and are planning a concert, a sporting event or a big event - the ÖVB Arena is the place where magic, community and performance come together in an impressive way.
