The National Museum of Slovenia is organizing the 5th International Ceramics Triennial UNICUM 2023. The focus is on the popularization and presentation of contemporary ceramics as an independent area of artistic creation.
The Triennial is a link between the international and Slovenian space and provides a new insight into artistic ceramics. Its aim is the search for elementary artistic research in connection with contemporary thinking. We are looking for new concepts, technologies and innovative research in the field of ceramic art connected with contemporary life.

The 5th International Ceramics Triennial UNICUM 2023 includes a competition part and accompanying events and exhibitions throughout Slovenia. The Slovenian National Museum will host the competition part of the Triennial as well as the exhibition of ceramic works by students from art schools and academies selected by the invited mentors.
