In Aalto's vision, architecture, art and design are inseparable components of a unique piece. Buildings that have become icons and influence architects all over the world, and design objects that have found their way into many people's homes and are still being produced today, thanks in part to the company's focus on cost-effective mass production. "True architecture only exists where people are at the center", said Alvar Aalto in 1958.
The exhibition presents 11 projects realized by the Aalto Studio throughout his career in an experimental arrangement that offers visitors different ways of understanding the studio's work.
