An evening full of timbres and chamber music finesse brings together two extraordinary voices: flute and harp meet in a program that combines poetic intimacy and orchestral elegance.
The world-renowned flutist Emmanuel Pahud is considered one of the leading performers on his instrument. His radiant tone and deeply rooted musicality have made him a sought-after soloist and chamber musician who explores the flute repertoire with great stylistic range. He is joined by Marie-Pierre Langlamet, principal harpist of the Berlin Philharmonic, whose chamber music sensibility and harmonic depth make their collaboration a true dialogue.
In their joint concert at the Schlosstheater Celle, two musical personalities come together, transforming a seemingly unlikely duo into a harmonious whole: the floating lightness of the flute and the sparkling sophistication of the harp open up a spectrum ranging from delicate impressions to rhythmically lively passages. The program includes works that explore the lyrical, dance-like, and expressive facets of this instrumentation and strike a subtle balance between solo performance and chamber music collaboration.
This evening stands for music that seeks closeness, unfolds colors, and shapes sounds into poetic moments—an invitation to surrender to the immediate experience of sound, breath, and silence and to experience the subtle magic of two extraordinary instruments in intimate connection.
