The famous main hall of the Concertgebouw is one of the best concert halls in the world, renowned for its exceptional acoustics and special atmosphere. You can feel history in the main hall. Gustav Mahler conducted his own compositions here, as did Richard Strauss and Igor Stravinsky. Sergei Rachmaninov played his own piano concertos in the Great Hall. Musicians such as Leonard Bernstein, Vladimir Horowitz and Yehudi Menuhin also gave legendary performances here. To this day, the Great Hall provides a stage for the world's best orchestras and musicians.
