A musical theater for young and old with dialect children's songs by Martin Mangold
A merry band of pirates is stranded on a Caribbean island. They have a treasure map with them, so they immediately set off in search of it. The treasure chest is quickly found, but the contents are a big surprise. Instead of gold and precious stones, the seven pirates find a slightly different but no less valuable treasure: music.
The ensemble "Six Chicks" is a septet from the Basel region - even if the name promises something else. The a cappella formation was founded in 2006 and since then the seven singers have been spreading good cheer in the most beautiful tones at their performances. With "Setzed d Segel", the Six Chicks are realizing a project close to their hearts and venturing into the genre of children's songs for the first time.
